Battery light on while driving
The alternator isn’t charging.
If your battery keeps going flat — even after replacing it — the problem is usually the charging system. We test the alternator, regulator and wiring, and replace the alternator on the spot if it’s failed.
While the engine runs, the alternator recharges the battery and powers everything electrical. When it fails, the car runs on battery power alone until it goes flat — often mid-trip.
We measure alternator output under load, check the drive belt and wiring, and look for parasitic drains, so we find the real reason your battery isn’t staying charged.

Good to know: If a parasitic drain is found, tracing it may need further auto-electrical diagnosis, quoted separately.

If a new or charged battery keeps going flat, or the battery light comes on while driving, it’s likely the alternator. We test both to be sure.
Yes, on most cars. Some need more access than others, but we bring everything needed.
Only a short distance — the car will run until the battery is drained, then stop.
